Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

This blueberry smoothie was so delicious, thick and creamy!  The perfect lunch.

Angie’s Thick and Creamy Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • ice

Blend and enjoy!

  1. Sounds Yummy, not a fan of yogurt smoothies but almond milk might actually create another fan, besides who doesn’t like blueberries (I know the price for them sucks)

    • It was so tasty! I’m not a big yogurt smoothie fan either. I use regular almond milk but there is also vanilla too. Love me some blueberries when I can find a good deal (our local Farmer’s Market). Yum!

  2. It looks really yummy! So tell me, why the chia seeds?

    • Ohh it was good! I’ll be writing about chia seeds here shortly. But in the meantime chia seeds have a nutty flavor and are a superfood. Excellent source of fiber, protein, omega-3′s and more.

  3. One question… is there any thing I could replace the bananas with? I am allergic so that will not work for me unfortunately.
