A Sad Week

Daily workout logIt’s been such a sad week all over the world.  I have honestly been glued to the TV and CNN online.  I did get in workouts but they were definitely not as good as I would have liked them to be.  I will work harder this coming week!

I just want to say that I have been thinking of all of you who participated in the Boston Marathon.  I honestly don’t even know what to say.  I cried a lot this week and my heart broke for so many people.

The April challenges I am participating in are going well.  I have the Polar ambassador calorie burning challenge, the 100 miles challenge and of course Best Body Bootcamp. The weight/strength workouts this round are tough.  My arms and legs are shaking every day lol

So this week, I only took one day off from working out HOWEVER a few of the other days were very light.  It was a so so week. Not great, not horrible when it comes to fitness.

Monday-
*Weights/Strength (BBB legs & shoulders)
Time: 24 min.
Calories burned: 255

*Spinning
Time: 30 min.
Calories burned: 394
Approx miles: 9

Tuesday-

*Core (BBB)
Time: 9 min.
Calories burned: 49

*Treadmill
Time: 26 min.
Miles: 1.35
Calories burned: 404

Today I walked just over 26.2 minutes in memory of Boston.

Wednesday-

*Upper/Lower body
Time: 10 min.

Light workout today, wasn’t able to be in the gym with the major storms we were having so just did some moves in the living room.

Thursday-

*Weights/Strength (BBB Full Body)
Time: 27 min.
Calories burned: 349

Hubby’s birthday!  Didn’t get in both workouts as usual but made sure to get in my Best Body Bootcamp workout.

Friday-

*Spinning
Time: 20 min.
Calories burned: 246
Approx. miles: 5

Rough workout today. I am exhausted and not feeling well so I stopped at 20 min.  Was bummed that I didn’t just push through but I am proud I didn’t give in and not do anything. Because you know I was having the fight in my head about it.

Saturday-

*Weights (BBB Upper Body)
Time: 20 min.
Calories burned: 188

*HIIT workout
Time: 22 min.
Calories burned: 366Miles: .75

Today’s workout was good!  A upper body pulsing workout and a HIIT workout that I made up myself inspired by 2 blogs I read this week. I’ll have to put an image together to show what I did.

Sunday- Day off

Today was Day 21 of #FitVEDA (video every day in April). I cannot believe I have stuck with it this long.  I did commit to it so I will keep going!  And hopefully next month you’ll see a lot more video from me.

If you haven’t been to my You Tube channel, please drop by and subscribe. I love comments too!  I promise I will get better at the video production process as I go along.  If you have a You Tube channel, please link up in the comments.

How did your workouts go this week?
