Terrible Exercise Funk

Lately I have been in an exercise funk.  I am pretty sure I can contribute it to being so darn exhausted with all that’s been going on for the last few months.  I imagine it’s the major lack of sleep AND emotions.  I have pretty much spent my time at the vet and stuck inside tending to our kitty.  You can read about some of the challenges we have been going through if you haven’t already.

I have never really been one to skip exercising. It’s one of my favorite things to do so you know I’m having some issues.  I need to get past it and just push forward.

A Personally Challenging Week

The last few months have just been a bit challenging on a personal level. This past week was one of the hardest. Our kitty, Franklin shattered his leg 10 weeks ago (and has been in a dog crate ever since) and had his 2nd surgery on Tuesday to get the pin out. It was to be his final surgery and he would be good to go.  We were so excited that day. However two days later he cracked that same leg.

A Total Wash

Gaiam.com, IncThis week was nothing to write home about so I’m going to make it short and sweet and move on!  Here is my ONE lonely workout for the week. 

And for those that don’t know, I had pulled something in my groin which in turn made my already bad knee worse.  I’m feeling better now but still need to stay accountable with my workouts so here you go.

Loving Best Body Bootcamp

Had a decent week up until I pulled a muscle in my groin (not from a workout, just moved the wrong way ugh)!  But even with that I’m really excited.  I have this coming week and next left in the Best Body Bootcamp and personal training BUT I have already paid for an additional 12 weeks of online personal training with Tina at Best Body Fitness.  She’s really amazing, let me tell you why.

Whoa Challenging Week

Workouts for the week were pretty good considering that I had a lot going on and didn’t workout for 3 days. I am definitely going to try better this coming week.

I can’t believe we are starting week 7 of the Best Body Bootcamp with Tina over at Best Body Fitness.  I am getting ready to sign up with her for an additional 12 weeks so I’m excited about that.

The bootcamp has been really awesome!  What I have gained from it so far is learning how to do strength training on a consistent basis.  I have also been challenged to do different types of intervals, workouts and more.  I would highly recommend her affordable online personal training.

Feeling Energized

Just in case you can’t see it, the quote on this image (a poster that is in our home gym) says “you just can’t live in that negative way…make way for the positive day” by Bob Marley.  Whenever I start to feel down, I just look up at that and get re-energized.

This week’s workouts were pretty darn good.  I had a lot more energy this week thanks to my green homemade fruit smoothies AND yummy cereal from Attune Foods.
