March 2013 Goals: Mix It Up

Angie 2013 snowLooking back on February and so happy to welcome March!  In February I didn’t follow through with my goal to do the 100 Day Burpee Challenge.  And for some reason, although I did get back into the home gym, I just didn’t FEEL the workouts.

Not sure what is up with that but I have been doing what I love the most and that is spinning, rebounding and dancing.  And I did get some shadow boxing in too.  I have also thrown in some upper and lower body moves into the mix and started doing 100 exercise ball crunches every other day.

Reflecting on January & February Goals

Getting over the fluSo as I reflect back on January, I had good intentions to start the  year out great.  But life handed me other stuff to deal with.

I was traveling the first part of the month and came home sick.  I was sick for 5 days and thought everything was fine and dandy.  We went to Oklahoma for 5 days and the moment we got back, I was sick AGAIN.  This time worse than before.  The nasty flu that everyone was having is what I got.  Fever, cough, stuffy nose, lethargy, you name it, I had it.

13 in 2013

Here we are at the end of 2012.  It was a pretty good year but I’m looking to a far more successful one in 2013.

Glenneth had a post about 12 things she wanted to accomplish in 2012 and updated it here.  I’m going to take her lead and do a 13 in 2013.

This will be a mix of personal and business goals.  I don’t share much stuff outside of my weight loss/fitness world but a lot of people say they want me to share more.  So I will oblige lol

December 2012 Goals

#1 Goal for December 2012:

Get more fruits and vegetables into my diet.

As you know, I’m participating in the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge.  One of the ways to get points in the challenge is to eat 7-9 servings of freggies (fruits/veggies) a day. Everyone in the challenge does really well with it and is inspiring me to make it a daily focus.

November 2012 Goals

Welcome November

Just checking in with my goals for November.  As most of you know, I’m currently participating in the Best Body Bootcamp. My goal is to follow through with that for the entire 8 week program. We are currently in week 2 and I feel great.

Other goals I have been working on and would like to stick with are keeping a food journal and doing crock pot cooking two times a week.  The reason for the crock pot cooking is so that we have dinner ready on nights Kev and I spin late after he gets home from work.  It also gives him a break from having to cook every night of the week. He’s loving that!

Online Weight Loss Support Groups

Are you part of any online weight loss support groups?

Just back from a business trip and a group of us hanging out Monday before we left for the airport decided to set a goal to lose a certain amount of weight by the next workshop in February. So there are about 10 of us so far and everyone has set their goals (weight, food, fitness, etc.).  PLUS we are all weighing in. Yikes!

So I am here to share my goals and my weight.  I need some accountability so I’m putting it out there for all of you (and the world) to see.  And hopefully you’ll cheer me on!
