Weekly Weigh In: July 29

No change this week.  Starting Saturday, I’ll be back at keeping the old food journal.  It won’t be as strict as the first time I did it but I know it will help me stay accountable to what exactly I’m eating and how much.  And then hopefully I’ll see the scale move a little *wink*

Weekly Weigh In: July 22

Stayed the same this week as far as weight but I feel really good.  As you all know, I have been doing the 30 Day Shred for 22 days straight and this week we got back to the gym.  Monday night was Aqua Fit class and tonight we did cardio both treadmill and elliptical.  Phew!

Weekly Weigh In: July 15

Hopped on the scale this morning to find that there was no loss.  I am OK with it this week because I know I have been eating better, making wiser choices although still not back to where I was yet and feeling good with the 30 Day Shred workout I have been doing over the past 15 days.  Kev and I start back to the gym next Monday so I’m very excited for that.  He seems to be feeling better and is also itching to get back there.  Our plan is to get back to 4 days a week.  Two will be spin classes, one Aqua Fit class and the other day a variety of cardio/weights.  Plus I’ll still work out at home and walk outside.

Weekly Weigh In: July 8

So last week I mentioned I wasn’t sure if my numbers were correct since it was a weigh in on the Wii balance board.  I can’t be sure but this week I weighed in on the regular scale and it shows a 6 lb gain whereas last week was a 6 lb loss.  I don’t know which to believe so I’m going to go ahead and just stick with the bathroom scale and go from there.  So we’ll go with a gain blech!

Do those of you who have Wii Fit find that the balance board is accurate when weighing yourself?

I know that I really need to focus on watching my portions, the types of food/drinks I’m consuming and I definitely need to get back into my workout routine.  I am getting in what I can right now.  Hopefully we’ll start spin class back up on the weekends at the new gym in a few weeks and we’ll either do Aqua Fit class or cardio machines two days during the week.

I’m just kind of bummed that at one point I was at my lowest at 187.2 (had to add the .2 LOL) and now I’m 42.8 lbs higher. Weight can definitely come back on with a vengeance and is not easy to get back off. But I WILL make it happen!

Weekly Weigh In: July 1

I think I’ll stick to using my actual scale to weigh in rather than the Wii balance board because that is what I have been using all this time anyway.  So I was not nervous to weigh in today because I’m pretty excited about starting Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred today.  I’ll be heading downstairs in a bit to do that and will have some posts later on about it. Hubs was going to shred with me but he ended up in the ER yesterday (headache, dizziness, etc.) and since they aren’t sure what’s going on, he’s going to pass on the 1st round.  If I don’t croak by the end of the 30 days ha ha, I might be willing to do it again next month with him, if he’s up for it.

OK, off to take measurements to track while doing the 30 Day Shred.

Weekly Weigh In: June 24

I really did not want to step on the scale this week but I did anyway.  Actually we have been checking in via the Wii Fit ‘scale’ and I was surprised at what it weighed me in as BUT I was wearing clothes and it’s THAT time so I won’t get up in arms about it.  So without further discussion or excuses ha ha I give you my update for the week.
