Giving in to a food craving

Not sure if I am really upset that I did it or not but I’ll tell you anyway.  Yesterday, ALL day I was craving a meal from a local pizza joint.  I mentioned it to Kev and he didn’t feel like cooking so he said he liked the idea.  I WAS going to get the salad I normally get but they no longer carry it so I ordered the baked Chicken Club with garlic sauce on the side and baked onion rings.  All of their foods are baked, not fried but still.

So after stuffing my face last night and NOT stopping when I was full, I *think* I’m a bit upset at myself.  I know I’ll be back on track today but man, why do I get those darn cravings?  Why can’t I crave a nice big fruit salad?  LOL

So, OK, I’m not beating myself up about it and I am moving on but thought I would post my feelings.  Thanks for reading!  Have you given in to any food cravings lately that you would like to share about?

I think it was a pretty good week for me!

I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll be posting a daily exercise log or a weekly one. What would you, as a reader prefer?

March 7th: National Cereal Day

Help me celebrate the creation of Dr. Kellogg’s famous Corn flakes in 1897. You can even send someone an e-card to wish them a Happy Cereal Day.

Lately I have been looking around for more cereal options. Cereal is one of my favorite foods and many of the ones I *think* are healthy are also high in calories. Hungry Girl has what looks like quite a yummy Oatmeal recipe. I might try that sometime.

What are your top picks for healthy cereal?

Weekly Weigh In: March 4

Tuesday’s are my weekly weigh in’s. I will be sharing my weight loss or gain from the week before.

This past week I lost 1 lb. I was expecting more but it’s a loss none the less and I am happy with any loss. How was your week?
