Happy Saturday and Blog Updates

Just wanted to wish you a fun weekend and give you some blog updates.

I have been working on a few additions to my blog this week.  As you will see, I just added a Product Review and Giveaway page.  I will start accepting products/services to review and/or giveaway.  If you have a product or service that fits what I’m looking for, please feel free to get in touch with me.

I have also added a category for my favorite healthy lifestyle blogs on the right sidebar.  I’ll be adding to that over the coming months and it will ultimately have it’s own page here on the blog.  The blogs that will be listed are blogs I personally visit on a consistent basis and are not listed because I exchanged links with anyone.  I prefer to list blogs that I feel a connection with or that have inspired me.  What blog has inspired you lately?  I would like to take a look.

And lastly, I have added a link to my personal blog on my About Me page.  This is a blog of my ramblings on everything from working at home to family life and everything in between.

I just had breakfast and now I have a lot of things to get done around the house. Mow lawn, do laundry, vacuum and the list goes on.  Hope you have a great weekend.

Reward Yourself

Here’s another Fit & Healthy Friday Tip

Today’s Tip:  Reward Yourself

Did you meet a weight or inch loss goal this month?  Be sure to reward yourself.  Whether it be a day at the spa, a pedicure, a new outfit or piece of jewelry be sure to treat yourself for a job well done.  And no, food rewards don’t count.

I’ll be honest and admit that I’m not one to really reward myself although I have bought some new clothes over the past few years.  This is definitely something I need to work on.  The complimentary Hot Mama Makeover report will help with other ideas on how to pamper and reward yourself.  It mentions self and professional pedicures in the report and that is one thing I do on a regular basis so I probably should be counting that as my reward because having a professional pedi always makes me feel really good.

Do you reward yourself?  If so, what types of things do you do to treat yourself for a job well done?

Weekly Weigh In: September 17

Again, no change.  I am revamping my workouts due to knee/leg pain so I’m hoping even with that, I will show a loss soon.

Current weight: 192
Goal weight: 135-140
Pounds left to go: 50+

How did  your week go?  Feel free to weigh in and stay accountable to us.

The Biggest Loser: Families

I’m excited that The Biggest Loser: Families TV show starts tonight.  Hubby set up the DVR to record as it’s on the same time as the Big Brother 10 finale.  I always get so motivated by The Biggest Loser every season so I look forward to watching it.  I love both Jillian and Bob as trainers but I also liked Kim too.

In January of this year, hubby and I were lucky to meet a few past Biggest Loser contestants through the Million Pound Match Up.  If you click on the link above, just scroll down to the January 12th, 2008 blog post (on my personal blog) to read all about our experience and see a picture too.

Do you watch The Biggest Loser?  If so, do you have a favorite trainer?

Goal Call Monday: September 15

It’s Goal Call Monday! Be sure to stop by Cindy’s blog and post your goals.

Not sure how much I’ll accomplish this week due to my aching knees but I’ll attempt to do a few things.

At least 4 days of activity this week (in-home/gym)
50 stability ball crunches each of those days
50 reps- Ab Coaster when I go to gym

What are your goals for the week?

My Workouts for the Week of 9/8-9/14 2008
