December 2012 Goals

#1 Goal for December 2012:

Get more fruits and vegetables into my diet.

As you know, I’m participating in the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge.  One of the ways to get points in the challenge is to eat 7-9 servings of freggies (fruits/veggies) a day. Everyone in the challenge does really well with it and is inspiring me to make it a daily focus.

November 2012 Goals

Welcome November

Just checking in with my goals for November.  As most of you know, I’m currently participating in the Best Body Bootcamp. My goal is to follow through with that for the entire 8 week program. We are currently in week 2 and I feel great.

Other goals I have been working on and would like to stick with are keeping a food journal and doing crock pot cooking two times a week.  The reason for the crock pot cooking is so that we have dinner ready on nights Kev and I spin late after he gets home from work.  It also gives him a break from having to cook every night of the week. Happy Halloween

Today I did a video but for some reason I’m having technical errors.  No wonder I never do video!  Anyway, I was in my Halloween mask and I wished you all a Happy Halloween and told you that I have been really good this Halloween.

I have a feeling Kev will be taking a big bag to work with him unless our neighbor stops by and I just unload it all on him.

No Excuses

This week, the first week of 2012 was interesting.  I have been sick since New Year’s Eve so it the week wasn’t too exciting. This post will be short and sweet but I did want to say that I am proud of myself.

If you recall I posted my goals for 2012 and two of them were to keep a food journal AND follow the mantra fitness every day.  Happy to report that I did just that.  Although I was sick, I did very VERY light moves but I did them.

Looking Back, Looking Forward

Looking Back

We had a lot going on this past year and are ready to put it behind us.  Quite a few family members had major health issues so 2011 wasn’t the best year for us and was pretty challenging.

My father in law had a major stroke and many didn’t believe he was going to make it OR even ever go home if he did but he fought hard and was able to go home this past week.
