My New Online Personal Fitness Trainer

Happy Early Birthday to me!

On April 1st, I turn the big 4-0 and I’m treating myself!  I have really wanted to work with another personal trainer but the local in home trainers around here are just not feasible at this time.

I have come across a few online personal fitness trainers and was even doing a review for a company who started out well but then they never replied back to me after a few initial emails.

You might recall I posted about them here on the blog but never finished my case study/review and that was the reason.  You win some, you lose some.

HIIT Training: Get the Scoop

Ever heard of HIIT training?

It stands for High Intensity Interval Training and from what I have read it’s the best type of workout to burn the most fat. Sweet, count me in!

 

I have made up my own fast workout before and it was a good workout but I like to have a plan to follow so I’m excited to be able to share with you some various HIIT workouts today.

February Fitness

I was challenged by Lynn over at Traveling Low Carb to exercise every day this month.  I took the challenge and today was Day 4.

Here is one of my very first videos here on the blog (with me in it LOL).  I made no edits (as you can tell with the scary face in the video) and it was taken by Kevin right after a hot sweaty spin session in our home gym today.  Boy do I look awful but hey I burned almost 800 calories so whatever!

I am going to try to make more videos but when it comes to techy stuff, I am horrible.  Please be patient with me!

This video was taken with my iPhone and I tried to upload it to You Tube but it didn’t work so after a few times, I left it for tonight and did it through the computer. So here you go!

Do You Watch The Biggest Loser TV Show?

Are you watching this season?

I absolutely think The Biggest Loser has a good trainer team this season with Dolvett Quince and Bob Harper.  I have been watching for a few seasons now and although I enjoy it most of the time, there are times I just shake my head.

I love the fact these people can totally transform their lives in just a few months.  But not everyone has that opportunity so we need to live in ‘real life’.

Need a Challenge?

I really didn’t want to disappoint anyone but I will not be having the Better Healthy Living challenge in November.  For now it will be a yearly challenge so it will be back bigger and better in June 2012.  BUT in the meantime, I have found other challenges that we can all participate in.  I truly feel I need to get back on track and the best way for me to do that is to do someone else’s challenge.  Out of the 4 below, I’ll be participating in two.
