Exercise challenge update for 6/23-6/29 2008

I set an exercise challenge for myself for this week and did really well.  My goal was to do 3-4 miles a day in addition to my normal Turbo Kick and Spin class workouts.  It looks like the only day I didn’t meet the goal was today, Sunday.  I was exhausted when I woke up this morning plus I had a horrible headache but hubby pushed me through and told me to just suck it up LOL

I also had a goal to get back on track with my water intake and didn’t do so well with that.  I did keep track of my water daily but only surpassed 9 glasses on Monday and Wednesday.  The other days I had at least 7 glasses.  I’ll work harder this week.

Kept up really well with my exercise and daily food journals.

I’ll be planning another exercise challenge in the next few weeks so keep your eyes open for that.

My exercise challenge for the week of June 23

I need to challenge myself this week so here is what I plan to do.

In addition to my regular goal of at least 5 days of exercise for the week which includes 3 days of Turbo Kick and 2 days of Spin class at the gym, I will challenge myself to do 3-4 miles of in-home or outdoor walking and/or cardio equipment every day as well.

I have also been slacking on my water consumption so I am going to challenge myself to keep track of my water intake to make sure I am drinking at least 9 glasses a day.

I will also keep up with my daily food and exercise journals.

April Weight Loss and Fitness Goals

I have set some personal goals for myself for the month of April:

*Walk 80-100 miles (that includes dvd’s at home, elliptical, treadmill, etc.)
*180-200 minutes working out each week, approx. 720 for April
*I want to stay consistent doing weights, 3x a week AND do at least 50 stability ball crunches a day.
*I would like to lose 8-10 lbs

I have been keeping an online food journal at The Daily Plate but I have food and exercise journals at home that I write in daily so I’ll keep up with that.

I take Turbo Kick classes 3x a week and will be taking part in two online weight loss challenges. One challenge is through Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds Walk Club and the other is with my friends over at the GR8BiggLosers yahoo group.
