Ever heard of HIIT training?

It stands for High Intensity Interval Training and from what I have read it’s the best type of workout to burn the most fat. Sweet, count me in!

 

I have made up my own fast workout before and it was a good workout but I like to have a plan to follow so I’m excited to be able to share with you some various HIIT workouts today.

If you recall, I posted that I was sent the Zumba Fitness workout to review as a Shine from Yahoo! Get it Guide insider.  We talked about at home workouts and I mentioned that I would be doing the review in addition to a giveaway here on the blog.

It will be some time before I get to the full review as I have not had the chance to experience the entire program yet due to traveling.  But I do have good news….we are going to go ahead and get the giveaway started!

From what I have experienced so far with the Zumba Fitness workout program, I love!  I can’t wait to do more.

I CAN tell you that it has some GREAT music including Reggae which totally sold me.  If you want to burn some calories this is a fun workout to do it with.

A Real Quick Office Workout

Mike is back with a great chair workout video.  This would definitely make a great office workout when you are short on time.  The moves are not easy but  it looks like a nice quick workout.

What did you think of that workout! Crazy good…

A lot of my work at home friends have an exercise ball as their chair so it would work just as well, I think.

5 Exercises for One of the Best Apple Bottom Workouts

Here is another guest article from Mike D with five exercises, using virtually no equipment, to help get you an apple bottom.  To be honest, I had to look up  the term apple bottom. I had heard the term in a song before but never really knew what it was.

So in case you are wondering the same thing, wikipedia says, “The term “Apple Bottom Jeans” refers to a woman whose curvaceous figure is elegantly revealed by her tight-fitting jeans, resembling the shape of an apple”.  So there you have it…now it’s time to go workout!

My First Circuit Training at Home Workout

Love the home gym chalkboard walls!

Today I set up my own (and first) circuit training at home workout. Since Kev gets the treadmill on Thursday, I had to figure out something for me to do other than spin. So I quickly threw together this workout today. Now, I am NOT a personal trainer so I have no clue if this workout was even a good one but I burned over 400 calories in 30 min. so to me it went well.  Here’s what I did.
